In December, our vision to bring Near-Infrared Spectroscopy into smartphones was presented at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital 2020.

Our sensing technology will empower smartphone users to identify the molecular composition of material, enhancing their decision-making.
As part of our first application, future smartphones will enable consumers to scan their skin on a molecular level and receive near-instantaneous suggestions on optimal skincare products for use on that day.

Building our ecosystem
In March 2021 we brought VIAVI Solutions, a pioneer in light management solutions, onboard and announced a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to build a Near-Infrared (NIR) spectrometer module for integration into consumer devices. VIAVI is a leading innovator in the field of optical filters with a strong track record in the consumer electronics market. We're combining our expertise to lift today’s smartphone capabilities to the next level.
